About GTEDC

The Golden Triangle Economic Development Council of South Arkansas (GTEDC) is Arkansas’s first Arkansas Community of Excellence (ACE) economic development region.  The Golden Triangle region comprises four counties–Calhoun, Columbia, Ouachita, and Union.  There are five communities–Camden, El Dorado, Hampton, Magnolia, and Smackover that are ACE Certified member communities representing over 100,000 citizens in south central Arkansas.

The Golden Triangle combines the area’s resources and talents to attract new business and industry to the area, and is committed to supporting existing business and industry.  The GTEDC is dedicated to the growth of the region by applying the knowledge, creativity, and leadership of its members to help solve the problems associated with infrastructure, transportation, workforce education, and training, as well as the promotion of social and economic welfare of south central Arkansas.
